What are you supporting! You are helping us to feed, buy clothes, hygiene items, school supplies, small luggage (no more going to a foster family with a trash bag!), personal items, stuffed animals and money for them to work on projects! They will learn basic telephone and greeting people etiquette through play acting. To build Life skills, we budget and design areas of the yard. From there, they learn communication skills, negotiations, casting their vision for support, drawing it up, researching costs, working together on a team style learning atmosphere. We need your help to bring this to a reality.

Atlanta Respite for Kids-The Ark
For the last 4 years, this home and the landscape has been uniquely modified to serve foster children. We are officially opening up April 2024 with our Sibling Reunification program. Our hope is to bring the siblings placed in different homes together every weekend. This will help build their bonds, skill sets, educational needs, and life skills. Thank you for supporting us in having front row seat to watching how this changes lives.
K Cady has had the vision and the plans as a CEO and Director of Activities since 2019. She is hard working, steadfast and has a big heart for kids from hard places. She is not s stranger to hard times in her own life. She left home at 15 and never graduated high school. These and many other experiences only gave her insight to those in similar situations. She raised 4 children, home schooled them and has had a very profitable career in Movie Accounting. One day soon, to retire to full time work at the ARK for the rest of her days on earth.
In loving memory of: Brian Hawk has been in big business for most of his life in the corporate world. A missions trip to Romania, serving at an orphanage, changed his perspective on what he wanted to do with the rest of his life. Now serving as a CFO for the ARK, his special talents and love of people have been a blessing to our vision to help kids!
Dianne Davis serves faithfully as Admin Assistant. Knowledgeable and full of energy and sunshine, she often is the one who helps us keep going. Her ability to find helpful ways to oversee our budgets, time and service have been valuable. She has run many companies in her career and brings a vast amount of wisdom to our daily running of the ARK.

We have transformed a safe place for kids to become fruitful and experience all they are capable of achieving in this life. Our Sibling Reunification Program is designed to make unbreakable bonds. We aspire to change the face of Foster Care IN TAKE. The children waiting to be placed in Foster care would come to us first, giving DFCS 48 hours to place them, and the hope is as siblings - together!
